There’s not much longer to wait – and this time we’re more than a little bit tempted to join the queue! Marni for H&M will be available online and in selected stores from 8th March. I say ‘from’, but the truth is that there won’t be much left on the rails after the launch…
The collaboration looks set to be the most successful yet, incorporating the signature clashed prints and statement necklaces which have made Marni a favourite amongst fashion editors. Top of the lust list has to be one of the silk print maxi dress, pictured left (£79.99), worn with perspex flower necklace (£24.99).
When the Versace collection arrived back in November, I managed to get my hands on the one piece I really wanted (a silk palm print scarf) a few days after the lauch – but something tells me Marni could sell out even faster.
To get you in the mood to join the queues, take a look at the Marni for H&M commercial directed by Sofia Coppola – it will have you longing for hazy summer days…
Olivia Rubin’s print designs have earned her an ever-increasing legion of celebrity fans including Fearne Cotton, Denise Van Outen, Jaime Winstone… and now The Saturdays’ Rochelle Wiseman has joined the ranks.
Out and about in L.A. with bandmates Frankie, Molly and Vanessa, Rochelle has been spotted wearing a number of pieces from Olivia Rubin’s S/S 12 collection.
The Saturdays singer loves her hot pink Rio shorts (£99) and yellow silk Tribe vest (£115) – and for a limited time you could get the very same look for less…
Until 29th February 2012 you can save 15% on all full price Olivia Rubin clothing with the discount code you’ll find right here on SalesGossip, whilst all A/W 11 stock is now £50 or less. Go on - bag yourself a Saturdays style steal…
There were so many stand-out pieces at London Fashion Week, at SalesGossip HQ we’re still struggling to pick out our favourite looks! Vivienne Westwood may have slammed contemporary British dress sense, but the best of British fashion was referenced in many collections - with tweed, flat caps and waxed jackets dominating the catwalk at Burberry Prorsum. Whilst it was a case of east meets west as Oriental and Slavic references came to the fore at Osman, Temperley and Issa. As for prints, our winterwear looks set to be awash with houndstooth – as seen at House of Holland and Basso & Brooke.
Spring styles may only have just made their first appearance out of our wardrobes, but we can’t wait to start shopping the trends for A/W 12 – and the truth is we don’t necessarily have to wait. Here’s how to shop the LFW trends for A/W 12 now…
In the Sweaty Betty Snow Sale you’ll find a houndstooth jacket, a faux fur-trimmed cape and a Cossack hat that are guaranteed to keep you one step ahead of the fashion pack… and they’re all 1/2 price!
The Duchess of Cambridge has done it again! No sooner than she appears in an item, it sells out. This time it was the Orla Kiely Birdie dress that copy-Kates vied to get hold of. The walnut-coloured dress in a quirky retro bird print sold out in record time yesterday - and it’s little wonder given that it had been reduced from £325 – £162.50 in the sale!
The Orla Kiely sale ends today, so if you’re quick there is still time to grab something similar…

Our very own Zabetta is featured in Drapers this week talking about sales – well what other topic of conversation would you expect from the co-founder of SalesGossip?!
We love sales, and research shows that you do too. Our SalesGossip survey found that most respondents bought 30% or more of their wardrobe during sales - add to that the stat that more than 35% of all fashion sales are made as a result of sales, special offers and promotions and you can see why we started SalesGossip! But could there ever be such a thing as too many sales?
Sales are no longer twice yearly events. You only have to take a look at SalesGossip to see that although January is over many of the winter sales continue alongside new offers for spring! It sounds like a savvy shopper’s dream – the issue is whether shops are simply slashing prices as a desperate attempt to make a quick buck rather than adding value to their brand and developing lasting customer relationships. So what is the way forward for retailers?
Can such price slashing continue, or will we start to see more targeted promotions, such as exclusive sale preview events that reward repeat custom?
