Paul Smith Design Museum Exhibition
The Design Museum will be celebrating the work of British fashion designer Paul Smith in a new exhibition – but don’t get too excited just yet, we’ve got to wait until 20th November 2013.
Known for his hypnotic rainbow stripes and classic tailoring with a quirky twist, Paul Smith has been in the industry for over 40 years, expanding his collections of men’s suits and shirts to incorporate womenswear, children’s clothing and must-have footwear and accessories.
The exhibition will give a full insight into the designer, presented in stages from the time he opened his first shop in Nottingham through until the present day. Visitors can also get up close and personal, viewing the design and production process behind a catwalk show, and gain an understanding to Paul Smith’s passions and motivations as a designer and so much more. This is a must for all you Paul Smith fans out there.
The exhibition will run from November 20th 2013 until March 2nd 2014 at The Design Museum on London’s South Bank. If you can’t wait, the Paul Smith sample sale should satisfy your appetite for sharp suits and sexy stripes for the time being.
