Red Nose Day Stella Style

The countdown is on to Red Nose Day 2013, so will you be doing something for money this year? Those guys at Comic Relief really know how to put the fun in fundraising. Jessie J may be shaving her head (eek) but you don’t have to take a bath in baked beans or bake yummy cupcakes to raise money (although they are both good options). You can show your support by wearing a Stella McCartney t-shirt!

Stella McCartney has lent her talents to the cause by designing 5 t-shirts for men, women and kids. Featuring The Beatles, Tommy Cooper and Marilyn Monroe as well as gal pal Kate Moss, profits from sales of the organic, fairtrade cotton t-shirts will go straight to Comic Relief.

Speaking of the collaboration Stella said:  ‘I admire the Red Nose Day team and their achievement for this incredible worthwhile cause, and to be able to be supporting that is extremely rewarding.’

The t-shirts have been produced in Africa and are now available from TK Maxx with prices ranging from £5.99 – £14.99.

Buy a £5.99 kids’ style and at least £2.50 will go to Comic Relief. £2.50 would buy a white cane for someone in Africa who is blind, giving them more independence. Buy a £9.99 adult style and at least £5 will be donated. £5 could provide hot meals for five children in the UK living in extreme poverty. Or with the purchase of a £14.99 t-shirt at least £8 will go to Comic Relief. £8 could provide nutritious dinners for a child living on the streets in Kenya for a whole year.

Buy your favourite from TK Maxx now and check out the Emma Bridgewater homeware designed for Comic Relief.
