Victoria Beckham Bags NYFW Success

Victoria, it’s safe to take your handbag off you head! Everyone agrees the A/W 13 collection is great.

Showcased at New York Public Library, hubby David and Vogue Editor Anna Wintour became best FROW buddies once again, sitting side by side to see the London inspired collection hit the runway.

Heavily featuring good old British plaid, the move back home definitely looks like a good idea now. In a collection notable for the manly tailoring, Victoria also took the opportunity to show knitwear for the first time. Looks like we’ll be layering up turtle neck jumpers with a heavy overcoat, tuxedo jacket or structured t-shirt come next winter. That said, the injections of canary yellow and cobalt blue will definitely brighten up the dark days.

It’s only a matter of time before we start to see the likes of Eva Longoria, Elle Macpherson and co. wearing the designs – not to mention Mrs Beckham herself.

Usually a walking advert for brand Beckham, we were surprised to see Posh sporting Jil Sander in the build up to NYFW – and we’ve only gone and found the very same sweater dress (albeit in a different colourway) with 80% off! To find out where, take a look at this week’s Get The Look feature for 3am.

Now move over New York, it’s time for London Fashion Week. Which shows are you looking forward to seeing?
