Oscars Red Carpet Report

The anticipation and speculation is over –  all the Oscars have all been handed out for another year. That is all except for best dressed – but who should win when there has been way more than the fair share of wardrobe malfunctions and mishaps at this year’s ceremony?

After loosing the bottom half of her dress at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Jennifer Lawrence made it a double whammy of Dior disasters when she managed to trip over her enormous skirt as she rushed to pick up the Oscar for Best Actress. But she wasn’t alone, oh no! Helen Hunt turned up in a very creased H&M number, Kelly Osbourne got lipstick on her teeth whilst Anne Hathaway’s Prada dress made her nipples the talk of Twitter.

If you opted for sleep rather than a late night red carpet vigil, here’s a selection of the most talked about looks from the Oscars this year…

Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta and Jennifer Lawrence in Dior fought it out over just who had the biggest skirt on the red carpet.

Jessica Chastain did her best Jessica Rabbit impression in Armani, Amanda Seyfried wowed in Alexander McQueen – as did Louise Roe in Monique Lhuillier, whilst Alicia Vikander’s Elie Saab gown gave us a serious case of dress deja vu. Now where have we seen that dress before? Ah yes… it was Blair Waldorf’s wedding dress ion Gossip Girl!

Pastel perfection, or what?! But who gets your vote for best dressed?

Look out for Jennifer Lawrence in this week’s Get The Look feature for 3am.
