The competition made available on SalesGossip's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/SalesGossip and SalesGossip's website www.salesgossip.co.uk and which is defined in these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the 'Competition') is hosted by SalesGossip Ltd. (a company registered in UK).

These Terms shall be binding on You when You enter and participate in the Competition. Entry and participation in the Competition by You shall be deemed an unconditional acceptance by You of all these Terms and Conditions.

Participation

1. To enter and participate in the Competition You have to fill out the Competition form available through the designated tab on SalesGossip's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Salesgossip or www.salesgossip.co.uk.
2. Participation in the Competition is free of charge and voluntary. Multiple entries per person are permitted. You have to be a Facebook user to participate in the Competition.
3. By entering the competition, you hereby confirm your free registration to SalesGossip.
4. SalesGossip employees and their respective relatives are excluded from entering the Competition. This includes subsidiary companies, as well as representatives and agents, of SalesGossip.
5. The closing date for entries to the Competition is midnight (CET) on the 20th March 2012. Late entries (i.e. entries received after the latter closing date) will not be accepted.
6. You must enter the Competition using Your legal name. SalesGossip reserves the right to disqualify anyone entering into the Competition using a false name. By entering the Competition, You hereby warrant that all information submitted by You is true, current and complete.
7. If You provide an incorrect name, age, address or other incorrect information in relation to the Competition entry, then SalesGossip reserves the absolute right to treat that entry as invalid. If the fraud, deceit, misconduct or other action is only discovered after the Prize has been released, You undertake to return the same (or provide compensation) to SalesGossip forthwith upon notification by SalesGossip.
8. SalesGossip reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms.
9. SalesGossip reserves the right to immediately withdraw Your place on the Competition or the Prize if it believes You to be in breach of any of Your obligations, or representations and warranties under these Terms or if You otherwise conduct Yourself in a manner which is inappropriate or unsuitable (as determined in the sole discretion of SalesGossip).
10. Any costs associated with accessing the SalesGossip website, Facebook page, or Email, is Your responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
11. Since SalesGossip is principally aiming the Competition at residents of the United Kingdom, SalesGossip cannot guarantee that the Competition accords with the local laws of any other countries and jurisdictions. You are therefore responsible for compliance with the laws of Your own country and jurisdiction if You are outside UK (Europe). SalesGossip will not be held responsible if You enter the Competition unlawfully. You are not entitled to enter and participate in the Competition if You are resident in a country or jurisdiction where the Competition may breach any law or regulation.

Choosing the Winner

13. 13. SalesGossip will select one individual and the 4 friends they have nominated from among all the eligible Competition participants at random by such means and methods (which may be manual or computerized) as SalesGossip may in its sole discretion determine. Upon selection the participant shall become the winner of the Competition.
1. In the event that:
   1. the participant so selected is disqualified for not meeting any requirement set out in these Terms;
   2. SalesGossip is unable to contact the selected participant within a reasonable period of such a participant having been selected;
   3. or, the winner is unable for whatever reason to accept the Prize;
   4. or, the winner does not claim the Prize within 28 days of notification by SalesGossip;
14. then SalesGossip shall proceed to select another individual from among all the eligible Competition participants at random by such means and methods (which may be manual or computerized) as SalesGossip may in its sole discretion determine.
15. If You are the winner of the Competition, failure to claim Your Prize in the time or manner specified will make any claim invalid.

Prize

16. Each winner of the Competition shall be awarded one £50 Selfridge voucher redeemable both in-store and online. These five (5) complimentary vouchers shall be issued and released by SalesGossip subject to all of the following rules and conditions:
1. The five (5) Selfridges vouchers will be issued in the names of five (5) different individuals, one of whom shall have to be the winner of the Competition and the other four (4) shall be individuals nominated by the winner himself/herself.
2. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods or services or used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
17. If You are one of the winners of the Competition, You shall ensure that the four (4) individuals who You nominate for purposes of Clause 16 are aware of all the rules and conditions set out in said Clause 16.
18. The individual selected as per Clause 13 and the winner of the Prize will be notified via email. SalesGossip decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
19. In order to enable SalesGossip to correctly identify genuine claims to the Prize and to eliminate non-genuine, deceitful or fraudulent claims, SalesGossip reserves the right to request proof of identity, age and address in the form of Your passport or driving licence or government identity card, and proof of Your address. SalesGossip may also carry out an interview in order to validate such a Prize claim.
20. The Prize is non-transferable and may not be given, assigned or sold to another person. The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
21. SalesGossip does not accept any liability if the Prize is lost, delayed or damaged in the post or otherwise not validly received by You.

Personal Data and Third Party Information

29. Any personal data submitted by You will be used solely in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998) and SalesGossip's privacy policy available at http://www.salesgossip.co.uk/info/1/Privacy-policy
30. Where for purposes of the Competition You provide personal information about another person ("Third Party Information") - for example, when You are filling out the Competition form - You must:
1. advise that person of SalesGossip's privacy policy available at http://www.salesgossip.co.uk/info/1/Privacy-policy
2. and, obtain that person's permission before supplying his/her personal information to SalesGossip. You acknowledge that SalesGossip will collect, use, store, and disclose that Third Party Information in accordance with the aforementioned SalesGossip Privacy Policy (as if the Third Party Information were obtained from that person directly), and You warrant and represent that SalesGossip are authorised to do so by the person to whom the Third Party Information relates.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

31. 31. The Competition and these Terms shall be governed, construed, enforced and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of the UK. Any disputes, controversies and/or claims arising out of or in connection with the Competition and/or these Terms shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Publicity

32. If You are the winner of the Competition You shall participate in all publicity required by SalesGossip and/or third parties connected with the Competition.
33. If You are the winner of the Competition, You acknowledge and agree that SalesGossip may publish Your name on any and all media.

Facebook

34. You hereby accept to completely release Facebook from any responsibility for the Competition.
35. You hereby acknowledge and accept that this Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
36. You understand and accept that You are providing Your information to SalesGossip and not to Facebook.

Miscellaneous

37. You acknowledge that the interests and good reputation of SalesGossip are paramount and SalesGossip may, at its sole discretion, require You to cease to have any involvement in the Competition if it believes it is in the best interests of SalesGossip to do so.
38. SalesGossip shall be entitled, in its sole discretion, to cancel (and/or recommence), terminate, modify or suspend the Competition with immediate effect without any liability in respect thereof.
39. SalesGossip reserves the right to vary, modify, delete or add to these Terms at any time and without any prior notice. It is Your responsibility to familiarise Yourself with these Terms to ensure that You are aware of any changes.
40. As this is an on-line Competition, You acknowledge that the internet is not a secure medium and information submitted online may be accessed by third parties
41. Competition entries will not be returned to You.
