Duchamp is a London-based menswear company founded in 1989 by Mitchell Jacobs. Jacobs landed initial success by tapping into the zeitgeist for fine accessories, which was a burgeoning sphere at the time, producing a superior line of cufflinks and, later, ties.
In 1998 Duchamp's first stand alone shop was opened in Ledbury Road, West London, and within a short space of time Duchamp shops in Regent Street, Canary Wharf and Jermyn Street followed. Simultaneously, the product range has swelled to emcompass underwear, eveningwear, and more recently a Ready-to-Wear collection.
