Liberty sale

The mock-Tudor building off Regent Street has become a London landmark, indeed Liberty is the leading destination store in London, a wonderful emporium where the latest fashions sit alongside design classics.

Liberty has a long history in London, having first opened their doors in 1875 selling ornaments, fabric and objects d'art from Japan and the East. The store soon became the most fashionable place to shop in London, housing the carpets and furniture for which their was an ever-increasing demand. The basement was called the "Eastern Bazaar" home to all things described as "decorative furnishing objects", whilst iconic Liberty fabrics were used for both clothing and furnishings. The clientele was equally exotic and included famous members of the Pre-Raphaelite movement.

Shopping online or in store at Liberty today you'll find collections from new and long established designers, as well as the Liberty prints that remain popular to this day.
