Founded in beaufiful Como in1953, the Molteni family have built an empire of 13 Tessabit stores in the Italian city. These boutiques offer everything from fine fragrance to food, but the Tessabit flagship store is the most famous, selling some of the highest level designers for both women and men, as well as shoes and accessories. The boutique has a laid-back, homely atmosphere with a dedicated seating area, where shoppers can relax with a cup of coffee or tea, whilst designers on offer include Lanvin, Dior, Prada and Marc Jacobs.
A taste of the Tessabit stores is available online, where the long list of designers stocked reads like a who's who of the fashion industry.
